This time there would be no physical therapy - rehab was accomplished with Gloria's guidance in Yoga Therapy , he began a practice focused on regaining mobility, strength and healing. Recovered full mobility in both shoulders over 8 months.  Final injury - distal radial fracture of left forearm.  Again Yoga Therapy in partnership with the surgeon.  Regained 100% mobility and flexibility over 9 months.

Currently, Carlos is working toward his 500 Hr certification and working toward his chef certification in plant-based culinary.

Gloria is a sensitive, creative and earth conscious spirit by nature. When yoga found her she understood that complete healing was in her hands. It was like coming home.  Gloria suffered from depression and sudden panic attacks from a young age. For the last sixteen years, she has been devoted to her practice and growth as she supports others to embrace their own path.  Gloria has been guiding yoga classes, workshops, retreats and a lifestyle consulting practice for over a decade.

Rooted in Classical Hatha, and influenced by many styles like Vinyasa Flow, Viniyoga, Restorative and gentle yoga. Her classes are fun, focused, and very naturally flowing; lightheartedly exploring and embracing our shared humanness.

Gloria had the blessed opportunity to study yoga therapy under the guidance of Dr. Omanad in India that gave her the greatest chance to dive into the depths of yoga, beyond the physical. Gloria also brings pranayama and meditation into each class providing a truly balanced, grounded and holistic experience. Her favorite phrases in her classes is “No expectations" it only leads to "Sorrows" and “Don’t do Yoga, Allow Yoga to undo you.”

Carlos Ruiz

Linda’s dedication roots from a personal practice and a passion for training and studying.  She enjoys bringing students new Asana variations and sequences.  She love all styles of Yoga and leads classes daily.  Her favorite are inversions and arm balances!

With her “…don’t take yourself too seriously …” attitude, Linda encourages practioners to challenge themselves, while respecting limitations.  If strength and flexibility was the reason for starting this Yoga journey you will be amazed at what happens along the way.  Everything in life becomes way better! Each new day brings sincere gratitude for all you’ve got in life (and all you haven’t got!).  You find yourself with a desire to become a better person in every way! LOVE

Currently, Joanna is studying under the tutelage of Elise Browning Miller in her practicum to become a Yoga for Scoliosis teacher/trainer.  Joanna is passionate about her Scoliosis studies, her experience with daily pain from her own Scoliosis brought her to yoga for pain relief.  Since then she has had a daughter diagnosed with Scoliosis and most of her female family members. Through her studies and experiences, she has discovered and adopted a multidisciplinary approach, using nutrition, stress release, pranayama and specific, targeted asana to help bring the body and mind back to center.

A conscious & loving approach to balance, healing and happiness!

Carlos' journey into Yoga began as it does for many - part of a fitness and exercise plan and preparation for a marathon. During that time he moved further into the practice as a complement to running.

His next step onto a Yoga path was the result of 3 injuries over 5 years, all requiring orthopedic repair. First, slip & fall dislocation of left shoulder. Following traditional wisdom, engaged physical therapy and found slow, painful and limited healing.  Completed the process and recovered 70-80% mobility.

A few years later a traumatic injury of the right shoulder led to a second round of orthopedic repair.

Joanna Downs Miller
E-RYT 200, RYT 500 and Certified Pranic Healer.

Joanna loves teaching classes ranging from stress relieving breath work and guided meditation to challenging classes designed to strengthen both the body and mind.  She has just completed study under Larissa Carlson and Dr. John Douillard in a year long course for Yoga and Ayurveda.

Joanna encourage students to begin where they are, on that particular day, and move mindfully from a place of stability and ease.  As a mother of three children and understand the juggling act of life. She enjoys watching participants practice breath work and move slowly with their breath. Using music, poetry, inspirational messages and themes she creates a space that feels healing and transformative.  At the end of class the participants feel lighter, less tight, more peaceful and over time, stronger.”
